10/9 Local Bands in Montauk this Weekend
Head to Montauk this weekend for a wide array of local music. The Blue Collar Band, with guest bassist Klyph Black, kicks off the Octoberfest on the green in Montauk in the afternoon.  After the event, don't forget to check out The Lost Keys at The Talkhouse on your way home.  They start at 8pm.
 
On Sunday, The 3B's (members of HotWax...remember them?) are at the gazebo in Montauk from 12-3.  Then head to 668 The Gig Shack to hear DCE (The Dylan Carroza Experience) from 2-5p.  Next, it's over to Nick's on the Beach to close out the festivities with Winston Irie.  What a weekend!

9/6 Local Bands to Kick-Off Art Show
Three local bands, the Third Estate, Rite of Way and DCE (The Dylan Carozza Experience) will kick-off the Vito Sisti Art Show at Ashawagh Hall on Saturday, September 12th at 5pm.  It is free!
 
The local music will be outside supporting the works of local artists inside the hall.  Refreshments are available so come down and support local music AND art!
 
By the way, when you are there, ask about the Open Jam on the 20th which will close the Art Show starting at Noon.  Bring your guitar and play! This event is supported by Crossroads Music.

9/5 Klyph Black & Rumor Has It at Guild 9/12
The Crossroads Music Showcase at Guild Hall continues on Saturday, September 12th with two excellent local bands.  Headlining the show will be Klyph Black and Rumor Has It, who bring their own brand of blues and rock and roll to the stage.  Kicking off the evening will be a Bob Dylan tribute band who call themselves The Complete Unknowns.  The show starts at 8pm. The Gig Shack on Main Street in Montauk is promoting local music and bands so let's be sure and support them. They have great food, excellent service and a nice vibe.  You can sit inside or out and listen to live music on most nights.  Every Monday is Rite of Way, Wednesday is the 3rd Estate and Thursday is DCE (The Dylan Carroza Experience).  There are various acts on other nights as well....it's worth the trip so check it out!

An awesome selection of local music is planned for this kick-off event. 
This is the grand re-opening of the John Drew Theatre at Guild Hall

2/17 Coffeehouse goes acoustic this month
Local musicians, duos and trios will gather on Saturday, February 21st to perform “unplugged” for all who plan on attending. All ages are welcome!
 
“We decided to try something a little different this month,” said Christine Clark, owner of Crossroads Music. “We’ll resume the hard driving rock and roll next month with a few teen bands but for this one it will be a little mellower.” The end of the evening could feature an open acoustic jam and impromptu sessions if time allows.
 
 The event begins at 7 p.m. at 5 Old Stone Highway – across from Ashawagh Hall – in Springs. Refreshments will again be provided by the Springs General Store. The $10 door charge will benefit the Springs Food Pantry.

1/1Crossroads Music on LTV
Crossroads Music now has a weekly show on LTV - Channel 20 - our local access cable station. The goal of the program is to continue promoting the local music scene. This is being done as a joint venture with Frank Vespe who owns and runs VespeVision, a local video development business.
    The show will air at the times listed below and will include bands and individuals from our "traditional" coffeehouses plus some segments from other venues that Crossroads Music is involved with in one way or another.
    Each show will feature one band for 30 minutes. That show will air 4 times a week to give you a good opportunity to try to catch one. The show times are:
Wednesdays 5:30pm
Thursdays 4:00pm
Fridays 7:00pm
Saturdays 10:00pm
